Kitchen Refresh! Part III of the whole house remodel
How many of you have a kitchen that needs a facelift?! Well, we are definitely the 'plastic surgeons of kitchen design' here to help you out! Sometimes a kitchen is very outdated and does need completely renovated, but what about the kitchen that just needs a little makeover? Here we have Part III of the whole house renovation we have been working on.
Here are some 'Before' pictures:
Notice the outdated border (you know you all have had one...or two...or three...), the hanging swag made from fake flowers and greens, the faux stained glass light above the table, etc. Most of us had all of these types of things in our homes. Do not lie. We all have been guilty!
Here are pictures of the new and improved kitchen!
Doesn't this kitchen now have a more light and airy feel? The kitchen was painted the same color as the living room. This is an open concept space, so it was important to create a cohesive space that kept the rooms flowing together. The windows are now dressed with a lovely fabric print that compliments the color scheme. They add a little pop of color to this light space. The new kitchen table and chairs are bright and inviting to sit in. This kitchen received new countertops. The kitchen island in the 'Before' picture did not have any overhang for seating. We added more seating by having a wider countertop made for the kitchen island. This particular kitchen has laminate countertops. Remember... Style can be done on a budget and look amazing! These countertops turned out beautiful for this space. We freshened up the kitchen backsplash with some fun mosaic tile for a clean and fresh look. The light fixtures were replaced and updated. When working with a budget it is important to consider what you really want to spend your money on. We are here to help you do exactly just that! What do you think of this kitchen facelift?!
Happy Transformation Tuesday!
